Find a photograph where the photographer has used a slow shutter speed and describe the subject matter including the background. Discuss any technical difficulties the photographer may have encountered and how these mat have been overcome.

The background is very still, while there are cars moving. You can tell this by looking at the lights, stating that those are car moving. Which this picture is great because all the cars on side stayed still and there was a lot of traffic on the street. Also on the other side of the street. Any technical difficulties the photographer might of been was the wrong ISO or to fast of a shutter speed. Also maybe there was not enough traffic.

Take four images of a running or jumping figure using fast shutter speeds (faster than 1/250 second). Vary the direction of travel in relation to the camera and attempt to fill the frame with the figure. Examine the image for any movement blur and discuss the focusing technique used.

Take four images of the same moving subject using shutter speeds between 1/15 and 1/125 second. Pan the camera to follow the movement. The primary subject should again fill the frame. Discuss the visual effect of each image.

These four images were taken when the girls soccer varsity had a home game. They were shot around 1/15 to 1/125. Almost all were 1/125. Except the right upper corner one which was at 1/15. The one that was shot at 1/15 was a challenge, this was because, they were moving so fast and always laying in the middle of the field. But once close I tried to pan one of our playing coming in contact with the ball. Showing that I need more work with panning at 1/15. The other 3 were 1/125 the one I like was the left bottom corner one. You see the girl running and the pride player is blurred.

These images were shot around 1/250 to 1/500. I like the faster shutter speed because you can just snap and bam you have the picture at that moment. The hard part about this assignment was getting the target in the frame, you can see in some the figure is not fully in the frame. My favorite was the bottom right corner. I got him in the middle of the frame and he was in the a perfect gesture. There was no blur, but in the left bottom corner there is. Over all I think I did better on the faster shutter speed.

This photographer, used a really fast shutter speed, 1/800. You see a shallow depth of field because the road is blocking the whole race course. The background in this images is blurry since the race car is going fast. Some of the difficulties the photographer might of face was getting that perfect shot. They might have missed the car since it was going so fast. This image give me a feeling that the car is going super fast. The background is blurry concluding the car is fast.

Henri Cartier-Bresson
Henri Cartier Bresson
Henri's photographs captures decisive moments by showing the type of life people have around the world. He makes you seem like you are really there and living that life. Which when he does this, this adds more quality to the picture. Such as the the people in the tents. Seems like you can go in the tents and be in their life style. Same goes with the two mens sitting, looks like you can join there conversation. overall his work is great and adds so much detail.
