Create a landscape utilizing foreground subject matter to create a sense of depth. Discuss how the resulting image is likely to be read by the viewer.

This closed landscape I created is a shallow depth of field. The viewer would read this picture as very close up, and they can see many sharp needles. This would tell them not to touch this cactus or else they might be in pain. Also the cactus looks free full of life. While the back looks dead, saying in the harshest conditions there is still life.
